Chao is a series of spaces for every context of the good life: work and leisure, meeting and socialising, travel and living. Chao is a hotel based in Beijing, but it is also a clubhouse, a work club, an events space and an art centre.
I was the senior designer and art director of this project working with a junior designer. We developed an extensive brand guidelines documents emphasising on signage. The identity was carried through every aspect of the hotel, from exterior and interior signage to in-room amenities.
